Hail Damage FAQ's
Q. What do I need to do to start the hail damage claim process with my
insurance company?
A. You should contact your insurance agent first. They will provide
you with information on how you can have an insurance adjuster assess the damage to your vehicle. You do not need to
get estimates at this time. Your insurance adjuster will provide you with a claim sheet and issue you a check for the
amount they believe it will cost to repair your hail damaged vehicle. If the amount of your insurance check does not
cover the cost of the repairs by us we will file a supplement with your insurance company.
Q.
What is a supplement?
A. In some cases additional communication between us and your insurance
company may be necessary for additional repairs left off of your original claim.
Q. Do I have
to pay for the additional repairs?
A. No, your insurance company covers the cost of the supplemental
repairs.
Q. My insurance claim sheet for hail damage on my vehicle states one amount for the
damage but my check is for another amount, why is there a difference? For example my claim sheet is for $2000 but my check
is for $1500.
A. In most cases, the difference would be your insurance deductible. In the above
example, the insurance deductible is $500.
Q. My hail damage insurance check is made out to
me and my lien holder. What do I do?
A. After New Visions removes your hail damage,
you will need to either provide your lien holder with your New Visions hail damage repair invoice and/or they may want
to physically inspect your vehicle. Upon inspection or receipt of repairs your lien holder will endorse your insurance
check.
Q. How I pay for my repairs?
A. Most customers pay with
a personal check which we hold until you deposit your insurance check.
Q. Do I have to pay
my insurance deductible to have my car repaired?
A. We are saving our customers their deductibles
(up to $500) on hail damage repairs totaling $2000 or more.
Q. I'm not sure if I want
to claim the hail damage on my insurance. Will my insurance rates go up?
A. Insurance
companies file hail damage under a comprehensive claim not a collision claim. If your insurance rates are raised,
they are going to be raised for everyone regardless if you repair your vehicle through your insurance or not. Therefore,
you should take full advantage of the premiums you pay by having an experienced paintless dent repair company, like
New Visions Auto Dent Removal, repair your vehicle back to its original showroom form.
Q. If
I don’t repair all the damage, can I save any money off the deductible?
A. If you are
claiming the damage repairs on your insurance we are required to repair all of the estimated damage on your insurance claim
sheet including any supplement if needed.
Q. I received a lower estimate from another company,
will you match or beat it?
A. Our company is based on a "quality instead of quantity"
repair approach. Each dent is unique and each repair we provide is also unique. Our offer of mobile repair at your location,
over a decade of experience and our free preferred discount program backed by our written lifetime guarantee are just a few
reasons why our customers consistently return to New Visions for their dent removal service. We have provided thousands
of quality precision repairs with thousands of satisfied customers. Let us amaze you by our difference!
Q.
I am not turning in an insurance claim and am just shopping around for the lowest estimate can you provide me with a written
estimate?
A. Yes, our written estimate is $50 per estimate and is deducted upon completed repairs
by our company. Verbal estimates are free of charge.
Q. Can you repair my hail damaged vehicle
at my location and how long will it take?
A. This is determined on a case by case basis. To
repair the vehicle at your location the damage must be able to be completed in one day or less. We will also need a covered
location with access to electrical outlets. Generally, most hail damage vehicles will require 2-3 days after all insurance
claim processes including supplement and insurance approval is completed.
Q. You’re a
mobile unit, do you come to me for the estimate?
A. Our mobile service is for the repair process.
After a catastrophic hail storm we will provide you with information on how to receive your hail damage
estimate.

Dent FAQ's
Q. Are your prices lower if I pay cash?
A. Our prices
are the same whether you pay by cash or by check.
Q. You provided me with an estimate over
the phone for a minor golf ball sized dent on the hood of my vehicle. You stated that this was an estimate and the price may
be different upon visual inspection. Why?
A. The only time our estimates may change is when
the described damage is different than the actual damage. To help with this process, we can now offer you an estimate
upon receiving images of the damage via email.
Q. What do I need to do to send the images of
the damage to you via email?
A. The damaged area needs to be clean of dirt and/or water/rain
marks. Please stand about 2-3 feet away from the damage and take one photo from a slight angle (which shows us depth) and
one straight on (which shows us exact location).
Q. Are all dents repairable by paintless dent
repair?
A. The success of paintless dent repair is determined by the depth and location of
the damaged area. For example, a large shallow dent is a better candidate than a small sharp dent. Our technician will determine
the percentage of removal success before the repair process is started.
Q. Can you provide me
with a written estimate?
A. Yes, our written estimate is $50 per estimate and is deducted upon
completed repairs by our company. Verbal estimates are free of charge.
Q. I have multiple vehicles
that need repaired, can I receive a discount?
A. Yes, we will repair your first vehicle at
our original price and then provide you with our free preferred customer discount program card.
Q.
What is your free preferred customer discount program?
A. Our preferred customer discount program
provides you savings each time you need our paintless dent repair service to your vehicles.
